Moonleaf......my sweet haven :)

Since milk tea became the trend and mostly the hang-out place for teens and other busy folks, I want to share my sweet and safe haven....

Moonleaf Diversion is one of the best and comfortable place to unwind and very conducive to study. It is an air-condition place and the staff and people their are very approachable.

Aside from milk tea, they have also fruit juice and basic teas.

House milk tea for me is the best!!! :)

    They called each other as Tamsy kung sweet, mango hangag bobo kung ga dugsing. :)

This kind of endearment is unique because they believe that to have a long lasting relationship, you should act like a best friend and care like a brother or sister. 

  He calls me love and I call him baby. :)

Our love story begun in an unexciting way..... as friends .hehe

March 12 is a noteworthy day for our love story, 2 months is not that long but we really hope and pray that this love story will be our forever. 

This love story is one of the best love stories I ever knew, ina and orald are childhood friends and built a good foundation of friendship since then. 

They may not be perfect but they are trying their very best to fight and keep their relationship strong.

    23 months of loving and caring for each other and like us, they still counting for forever.....

Love comes unexpectedly, Love come when you least expect it , love is weird and love is the universal language that everybody understand.

My friends and I doesn't have this extra ordinary or loud relationship to be shouted in the universe. Our love story is simple and like the others, we have ups and downs. Though we may not be perfect but we believe in love there is no fear.....

Madge café 

Madge café is located in the heart of La Paz public market, which made it special and unique compare to other “tambayan” in the city. Madge Cafe is a carinderia-style in appearance and very neat, it was quite windy because it is an open place and a no wifi zone for the customers to maintain their social life.  

Upon entering the café, a smell of fresh brew coffee will give a mellow sensation to the customers and other by-passers inside the market. Madge is one of the authentic and well preserved coffee shops in Iloilo that gives a home sweet home feeling in all the costumers. And also the affordable price, that attracts all kind of people.  

Madge Cafe was established in 1951 and is now one of the oldest family-run businesses in Iloilo. MADGE was taken from Nang Julieta’s mother-in-law, MARGARITA. Nang Julieta and her husband inherited the cafe when the parents of her husband passed away.

Since it started, Madge Cafe has been serving good coffee for 63-years. She also informed that they have a newly opened branch in the Diversion road and it is an air-conditioned one.

Madge Café opened its 2nd branch at Butlak Wellness Spa D'Salon at Diversion Rd., Mandurriao, Iloilo City last December 2012.The shop open 11:00 am every Friday -Saturday and 10:00 am on the remaining days. This coffee shop will always be the best “tambayan” suited for all type of people like students and office workers. 

They could choose coffee with milk in Mild, Regular and Strong coffee blend in Media Tabang, Media Regular and Media Cafe or savor the richness of coffee without milk by ordering Puro Regular, Puro Tabang and Media Puro for mild, medium and strong blends. Though the place and location changed, but still the taste and aroma of brew coffee is still the same. Their native hot and cold coffee together with their soft and tasty “pendesyosa” will be their trade mark to all their loyal and new customers.

The newly open branch of Madge café is a living legacy that though how competent the business world is, still there is a place we’re we could say “daw sa balay lang ko”.  J

Mama Paz Resort........Alimodian's pride 

Mama paz resort is located at Alimodian,Iloilo. A 45 minutes or almost an hour ride from Iloilo city. It is a hidden paradise,because it is located in a high peak of a hill.

At the entrance,you can find a canteen where food and beverages are available in a most affordable price.

The best part... the clean and the relaxing pool. If you want to enjoy their pool you should pay first 50 pesos and I guess they have this formal swim wear attire policy. (i'm not really sure) hehe

A long steps going to their cottages. They also offers an overnight rooms for 1.600 pesos and this is good for max of 7-8 persons.

They also have their pavilion, where it can accommodate 50 plus persons in a different kind of celebrations.  

    The mini bridge connecting to their human size "Santos".

  Mama paz is a good place to chill and unwind after a very long and tiring day. It is very easy to find. Ride an Alimodian jeep at jaro public market and just ask the driver to drop off  you at Mama paz.
 All in all. mama paz is also a safe haven to relax and enjoy the remaining days of your summer. ;)
